Backlinks may be sold per placement, in bundles, as a managed campaign, or indirectly through outreach and PR retainers. These models are not directly comparable because the labor, editorial process and site selection differ.

Compare total acquisition value

Ask what you receive, how sites are selected, how long links are expected to remain live, and what reporting exists. A cheap link that is irrelevant or ignored can have little value.
